Fresh Water New Fish Integration
We always recommend quarantining your fish for a minimum of 2 weeks prior to placing them in a show aquarium.

Discus or Delicate Fish follow the saltwater procedure. Here
1.  Turn off the aquarium lights to reduce stress.
2.  Float the bag, containing the fish, in the aquarium for 10-15 minutes to equalize water temperature.
3.  Add 1/2 cup of aquarium water into the bag every 3-5 minutes until bag is full or until the original amount of water is doubled trippled  depending on delicatness of the fish.
4.  Remove fish from bag and place into tank. Disgard all water remaining in bag.
5.  Leave lights off in aquarium for a miminum of 1-2 hours, preferably overnight and resume lighting as normal the next day.
