TEMPERATURE:
Betta Fish are tropical fish. That means, they like ther water 75 degrees, and go not do well in cold rooms or drafty places. Do not place the bowl directly in the sunlight, as the greenhouse effect will cause the water temperature to fluctuate significantly.
FOOD:
Betta fish are not finicky eaters. Feed freeze dried blood worms or betta fish food every other day. One or two pieces is enough, more will make the water cloudy and unpleasant for your betta to live in.
MAINTENANCE:
Betta fish need their water changed regularly depending on the size of the container, a minimim of a 50% water change is required weekly.
PLANT USE:
Betta Fish go to the surface for air, so please leave them one or two inches of space between the plant cup and the surface of the water. For optimal plant growth, use a high quality plant fertilizer at 1/2 strength in all new water.
